Hindon Lane, Tisbury

Wiltshire 2009

Hindon Lane is a sensitive site on the western edge of the popular market town of Tisbury in Wiltshire. The land is gently sloping with fine views to the north.

We have been appointed by the developer to bring forward a detailed planning application for the site following grant of outline approval in 2009.

We have drawn up a masterplan for 90 dwellings and a range of employment buildings. The intention is to create a quiet vernacular development that seamlessly stitches in to the fabric of the existing town.

We have studied carefully local town and village plans in the preparation of the preliminary masterplan. Care will be taken to ensure that highways engineering has as little impact as possible. The plan minimizes the amount of hard surface and allows for extensive front and rear gardens with abundant planting.
